Meet The Cast

Morelia

Morelia

Morelia Cuevas, known professionally as MORELIA, is the only “Rhinestone Heiress” in the world.  She is a business and broadcast professional, voiceover artist, event planner and one of the most sought-after hostesses in Nashville.

She was born in Los Angeles and raised in a world unlike any other. Morelia is the granddaughter of the legendary tailor Nudie and daughter of Manuel, clothing designer to the stars. She grew up in a creative environment surrounded by artists and entertainers. One of her favorite pastimes as a child was spending rare and precious moments with film stars like Clint Eastwood, Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and others. Most Nudie mobiles are only found in museums, but there are three that she knows of in Nashville. One hangs from the ceiling in Nudie’s Bar & Grill on Lower Broadway, one is owned by her rock star friend, Kid Rock, and one is exhibited in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Morelia came to Nashville in the early nineties to work for her father’s couture shop. She helped to market and produced his fashion shows. One feather in her couture cap was being the main point person for the prestigious Frist Exhibit on her father. She’s also known for producing “Rhinestones & Roses” for the CMA’s with Grace Reinbold. She soon formed Kosher Taco Productions. The name is a testament to Morelia’s sense of humor and heritage having a Jewish mother and a Mexican father.

Morelia serves on the Board of Directors for Nashville Women in Film and Television and supports the American Diabetes Association.
